**About the opportunity**

We are searching for a legal practitioner to play a key role in ensuring our organisation complies with all relevant legislation as well as best practice. As part of a newly created internal legal team and reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the Legal Compliance Manager plays an important role in maintaining the trust and confidence of our key stakeholders and protecting the integrity and reputation of the business.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Regularly review legal policies and procedures
- Manage property related operational matters including documenting operational requirements for new premises as required and liaise with Leasing Agents, Local Council and Landlords
- Manage and lead privacy initiatives as the appointed privacy officer for the business includes advising and supporting stakeholders in relation to privacy legislative requirements
- Manage and maintain important privacy documents such as Privacy Impact Assessments and risk assessments
- Lead legal activities as the appointed compliance officer for TTI ANZ - this includes leading compliance issues for general business operations
- Make regular recommendations for changes to our Schedule of Authority.
- General assistance with regulatory and governance compliance.
- General legal guidance enquiries
- Liaise with our global legal team in relation to trademark, copyright and infringement queries - this includes documenting and distributing advice at a local level

**About you**

You are an experienced legal professional within a similar environment either inhouse or within a legal practice.

**You require**:

- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- The ability to build relationships, trust, and respect with various stakeholders
- Able to think critically and articulate opinions
- High attention to detail
- The ability to identify and consider critical issues, assess and articulate legal risks
- Proven experience in collaborating across multiple levels of a business
- Keen eye for detail in document management skills
- An ability to use initiative and liaise confidently with various stakeholders.
