Scent Clean & Co specializes in short-term rental (Airbnb) cleaning, laundry management, and property staging. We ensure each property is guest-ready with high cleaning standards, efficient turnover times, and professional presentation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Short Term Accommodation Housekeeper to join our team.

This role involves cleaning and preparing short-term rental properties, staging them for guests, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and turnover services for short-term rental properties, ensuring high cleanliness standards.
- Stage and present properties professionally, including making beds, fluffing pillows, and setting out consumables.
- Check and restock consumables as per the guest's stay (not excessive stocking).
- Organize kitchen and bathroom cabinets, remove any guest items, and dispose of leftover food.
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms, ensuring no dust, dirt, or debris is left behind.
- Inspect and report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to management. Check for odours in the fridge, freezer, and other areas, cleaning them as necessary.
- Ensure drawers, cupboards, and under beds are checked for personal belongings left behind. Follow the cleaning checklist and schedule to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Comply with health and safety regulations while handling cleaning products.

**Requirements**:

- Previous housekeeping or Airbnb cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a cleaning checklist.
- Good time management skills to complete turnover cleans within the allocated time.
- Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license
- Must have a valid police clearance or be willing to obtain one.
- Must be available to work between 10am to 3pm, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Expected hours: 8 - 35 per week
