**About the Role**

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you’ll be working within a fast-paced team-focused environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Customer service
- Setting up, plating and distributing patient meals and beverages
- Undertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards
- Dishwashing
- Being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants
- Allergy control awareness.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and energetic team player with a passion for catering services. Experience in a similar food service will be highly regarded, especially in a clinical setting.

Ideally you will also bring;
- Previous experience in a hospital or hospitality environment
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

**Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $27.87 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances**
