**About the Role**

**We are looking for the following positions**:

- **Catering Assistant - Patient Catering**:

- **Barista/Catering Assistant**

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you’ll be working within a fast-paced team-focused environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
**Catering Assistant**

**Your skills and Experience**
- Exceptional customer service.
- Being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants
- Setting up, plating and distributing patient meals and beverages.
- Undertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards.
- Dishwashing
- Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work loads
- Be relaible, motivated and have a friendly nature
- Allergy control awareness
- Experience within the healthcare industry desirable.

**Barista/Catering Assistant**

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Experience working within the hospital industry essential
- Enthusiastic and a positive “can do” attitude
- Exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work loads
- Be reliable, motivated and have a friendly nature
- Safe food handling skills
- Experience within the health care industry desirable
- **Barista skill desired but not essential**:

- Willingness and ability to work as catering assistant within the kitchen as required.

**Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $27.87 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances**
