At 1300apprentice, we have a exciting and challenging position with one of our Host employers.

The role will encompass a 12 month traineeship where you will gain on the job experience and receive a Certificate III qualification in Business.

**About our host**:
Our host employer has been setting standards for solutions for industrial trucks, fleet management, driver assistance systems and service offerings for over 50 years.

An opportunity has now become available for a trainee in their Larapinta office in Queensland.

**About the role**:
The following are duties of the role the trainee will learn and undertake:

- To support, assist and provide administrative support to the Sales team regarding STRs and Commercial Manager as required. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist with co-ordination of the administration system and manual recording required for all STR rentals, invoicing, dehires, appropriations, credits, reporting for sales executives and management in line with Company policies
- Facilitate transparency on order status, escalating to branch management as required
- Actively participate in the regular contract and production meetings
- Assist with coordination of consignment units’ receipt and transport for internal purposes and dealers and stock receipts against orders as required
- Liaise with AR/AP department to set up new accounts, payments and assisting with AR invoice queries and disputes, processing of AP invoices
- Assist with organising STR sub hires and Hold-downs
- Coordinate transport for all STR operations for the branch and consignment units as required
- Maintain adequate filing of all paperwork as per company policy requirements and guidelines
- Act as backup / support to Sales Coordinator and SA counterparts as well as provide support to Commercial Manager and Branch Management team as required
- Answer all inbound inquiries and direct to relevant personnel
- Greet clients and visitors, determine nature of business, ensure sign in is completed, and announce visitors to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain flexible approach to work hours within the needs of the business
- Any other adhoc duties as required.

**To be successful**:

- You will need a high level of computer skills (Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience working within fast paced environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong customer service skills
