About us
The County Court Commercial Division hears and determines matters relating to the recovery of debts, claims for damages, trusts as well as building and banking disputes, both in Melbourne and in regional Victoria.
The Division is governed by the Head of the Commercial Division, the Judges in charge of lists, and the Judicial Registrars.
The administrative team that supports the Division is comprised of Registrars, Division Lawyers and self-represented litigant case managers, working with and supporting judicial officers in the state-wide management of cases. Led by a director, and working in collaboration with judicial support staff, they are responsible for all administrative activities that sustain the operations of the Division, delivering critical services to Court users and the judiciary.
About the role
The Manager, Commercial Division Registry Services leads, develops and manages a team that delivers the day to day administrative case management activities for Commercial Division.
The role works in collaboration with the Head of the Commercial Division and other judicial officers overseeing trial and interlocutory listings and allocations as well as monitoring and managing environmental factors that impact listings. The role also contributes to the development and implementation of change documentation relating to court process and practice as well as leading continuous improvement activities to improve future service delivery approaches.
