We are seeking an enthusiastic Break Cover Educator to join at team Patterson Lakes Kindergarten. Patterson Lakes Kindergarten opened in 1981 and has continued to serve the children and families of Patterson Lakes ever since. The kindergarten was successful in gaining government and council grants to update and extend our building, work started in June 2013, and we began this year with a beautiful, modern and fresh new building. We offer both four year and three-year-old programs. Our four-year-olds attend kinder for a total of 15 hours, and our three-year-olds attend kinder for a total of five hours a week spread over two days.
W eare currently recruiting for a Part time break cover Educator to support our team in the Cockatoo's Group. Should you be successful, you will be working 2 hours per day on Tuesday and Thursday.
**What will you do?**
- Partner with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential
- Build trust with the families by respecting diversity and connecting to individual cultural needs. You will work in partnership with parents and encourage their involvement in the program
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis
**Essential criteria for a Diploma Educator**:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
- Have a sound knowledge of and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standards
