The Department of Health (the Department) aspires for all Victorians to be safe, healthy, and able to lead a life they value by driving reform and providing regulatory oversight. Working within the Public Health Division, the Technical Lead will be responsible for implementation of technical logic in the COVID-19 Data Model to satisfy business requirements and communicate design changes and assess impact to the business users of the COVID-19 Data Model. The role will work with key stakeholders to implement the transitional strategy of the Data and Intelligence function as it is integrated into Public Health division.

Using an agile approach, the Technical Lead role is to identify and drive outcomes that will allow for the Informatics team to effectively drive the investment in their Salesforce environment and additional systems via a combination of architectural thought leadership and technical implementations. The role will liaise closely with data engineering and architecture to support the consumption of data from the source Salesforce system.
