St Leonards, Australia Medibank Full time

**Your career in healthcare made**_personal_**

At Medibank we’ve recently unified our health services under one brand - **Amplar Health.**

With over 1000 employees, our nurses, GPs and other amazing allied health professionals our focus is on improving healthcare experiences and championing greater access, choice, and control for people in Australia when it comes to managing their health.

**The Opportunity**

At Amplar Health, we deliver a range of national integrated healthcare service for a number of Government and non government clients. With over 3 million interactions annually across Telehealth, Homecare, and Prevention programs, we’re committed to making quality healthcare accessible to all.

Due to continued business growth we’re excited to create a new permanent position for an experienced Workforce Planner to join our team. This role plays a critical part in analysing, forecasting, planning workforce supply and demand and assessing gaps to support the Rostering and Service Delivery teams in ensuring that we have the right people - with the right skills in the right place at the right time.

This position is responsible for leading all aspects of workforce planning and forecasting, developing operational best practice and resource with a focus on efficiency, resource optimisation and a commitment to continuous improvement.

**Day to day this role will see you**:

- Manage the end-to-end forecasting, scheduling, and tactical optimisation for your assigned work groups to deliver a consistently and reliably safe and efficient service in the contacts of contractual commitment.
- Generate highly accurate forecasts for call volume demand, average handling time, attrition and staffing requirements ranging from short (30 -60 days) to long term (12 months) resource plans.
- Monitor and analyse attrition trends to inform recruitment activity.
- Build plausible scenarios to provide strategic optionality to the business.
- Translate complex workforce data into meaningful insights, using advanced data visualisation techniques.
- Design workforce analytics that support the optimisation of staffing levels, addresses workforce challenges, facilitates staff mobility and support business decision making.
- Take time out to recharge - you might hit the pavement for a walking meeting with a colleague, pop out to a lunchtime gym class or take a mid morning meditation break.

Here at Amplar, we have huge focus on health and wellbeing. For us, this means flexible work and continuous improvement to our ways of working. We don’t go for mandated office attendance days, so you get to decide if your day is best spent working from home or heading into the office (you’ll need to come in for our team days and events though). You may even be based regionally which also works for us

**What do we need from you?**

First and foremost, you’ll need to have solid demonstrated experience in workforce planning and optimisation developed in large, complex Omni-channel Contact Centres (ideally within the healthcare industry) combined with strong modelling and reporting skills.

You’ll be able to read and interpret data, and and anticipate trends. You will have the confidence and credibility to provide advice to stakeholders, so its essential that you have excellent communication skills. You’ll be managing multiple pieces of work at any one time and need to be able to maintain strong attention to detail at all times.

**Inclusion and Accessibility**

Employees in face-to-face healthcare roles will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
