**Key Details**:
- Based in Holt, Canberra
- The assignment duration is upto 1 month
- Anticipated hours per week are 37
- Attractive hourly rate
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Event Coordination**: Manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, scheduling, and logistics.
- **Office Management**: Serve as the central support for the team, handling a wide range of tasks, big or small.
- **Communication Management**: Oversee event communications, create invitations, and prepare speaker kits.
- **Design & Graphics**: Use Canva (or similar) to create brochures, handouts, and promotional materials.
- **Meeting Organization**: Coordinate meetings, prepare event kits, and work closely with policy advisors and the team.
- **Tech Proficiency**: Use technical skills to improve event processes and ensure smooth operations.
- **SharePoint Management**: Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
- **Event & Communication Expertise**: Proven experience in event management and communication.
- **Design Skills**: Proficient in Canva or similar design tools.
- **Proactive Learner**: Adaptable and quick to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- **Collaborative Spirit**: Effective in working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- **Clear Background Check**: A valid Police Check is required.
