Teacher - Primary - Behaviour Support - Kippa-ring

The position is at the Peninsula Positive Learning Centre (PPLC) and it is for a fulltime Teacher role.It is based at the Kippa Ring SS on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
The PPLC Teacher provides support to develop the students social/emotional and behavioural skills while at the PPLC and then works with class teachers and the students at the school site to enhance their skills with the aim of the students returning to school/class.
Approximately 4 - 6 students may be in the program at any one time with an aim to run their program for 10 weeks.
The role also requires liaising with school administrators and support staff, along with other support agencies depending on the student's needs. It can also include wrap around family support.
The Teacher has freedom to develop creative responsive programs for the students and is supported by a Teacher and Teacher Aide (for the 2 days during the program).
