Great public sector opportunity for an Environmental Science Engineer

**Your new company**
Our client is a Redland Bay based public sector Authority who are looking to engage a Technical Officer, Waste Assets, to their Waste Infrastructure Asset Management team.

**Your new role**
As the Technical Officer you will be part of the Waste Asset Management Team, where you will undertake delegated projects and provide technical support in relation to Council's strategic waste and resource policy objectives. This includes the development, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that support sustainable waste, resource recovery and environmental outcomes. In your new role you will also be responsible for the collation of relevant information for reporting to State and Federal Governments as required on an annual basis.

The client is offering a great opportunity to work within a public sector team. We would suggest an hourly rate between $40-$45 / hour for this position. The role is an initial 3-month contract with the possibility to extend.
