**About the Role**

We are seeking a passionate and capable Robotics Course Instructor to lead a one-day robotics workshop for high school students in Sydney. The course has a complete structure and content outline provided, and includes a mix of theoretical foundations and hands-on activities. The instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering the morning theory session based on the existing syllabus, and leading the interactive practical sessions in the afternoon.

This role suits a confident communicator with teaching experience at the secondary level and a strong foundation in robotics. The aim is to make robotics fun, inspiring, and intellectually stimulating for students, many of whom may be exploring this field for the first time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and deliver the morning theory session, using the provided course outline as a guide to structure engaging and age-appropriate content.
- Teach foundational robotics concepts, including sensors, actuators, hardware structure, and basic control logic.
- Lead hands-on programming and robot-building exercises in the afternoon using student-friendly robotics kits (e.g., Arduino-based smart cars).
- Create a lively, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment.
- Support students throughout the workshop, addressing questions and troubleshooting where needed.
- Contribute feedback on course delivery to help refine future sessions.

**Essential Requirements**
- Based in Sydney, available for full-day in-person delivery.
- Demonstrated experience teaching or facilitating workshops for high school students.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage and manage a classroom.
- Solid understanding of robotics principles and confidence to design educational theory content.
- Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic about STEM education.

**Desirable Qualities**
- Familiarity with Arduino, Scratch, or similar educational robotics platforms.
- Previous involvement in STEM outreach, enrichment programs, or educational competitions.
- Ability to adapt material to different student backgrounds and learning paces.
