**Your new company**

This agency is well-know for defending Australia against global threats and handles a unique range of complex and highly sensitive matters across work health and safety. The team is expanding and seeking professionals across the APS4, APS5 and APS6 level.

**Your new role**

The team provides information, advise and guidance on WHS and legislative matters, while overseeing compliance, due diligence, and assurance activities, managing policy and procedures, and implementing program and initiatives to drive safety and wellbeing for the agency’s workforce.

Your new role will initially support the administrative aspect of the function and provide on the job training and development opportunities.

Some of your responsibilities will include
- Preparation of WHS communication materials and updating intranet page
- Establishing and overseeing operations for the corporate health and wellbeing programs
- Supporting the team in developing and drafting policies, procedures, and guidance material
- Maintaining WHS records storage

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this process, you will have a diverse range of experience with a minimum of administration support and hold a baseline security clearance. However, experience across WHS is highly desired and/or other areas of HR.
