Olivet Care is looking to employ an experienced Kitchen Assistant / Food Service Assistant at our Residential Aged Care Home based in Ringwood, who is willing to work as a member of a committed team, have the capacity to readily learn and adapt to a busy kitchen environment.

**About You**

This role is essential in the preparation and overseeing the provision of the resident’s daily meals in accordance with dietary requirements whilst working cooperatively with care staff.

You will be involved in basic food preparation and the serving and the delivery of meals.

Liaising with residents, families and staff, you are willing to initiate and participate within a team to build on ongoing improvements of services for our residents and their representatives.

Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will be working with a dedicated team of catering staff where you will play a key role in delivering a high
- quality catering services to our residents.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Previous experience as a kitchen hand preferably in the Aged Care sector (desirable) or Hospitality experience will be highly regarded.
- Food Handling Certificate (Basic Food safety Practices
- Healthcare Competency
- HLTFS7A OR SITXFSA001)
- Good communication skills
- Can do attitude and a desire to deliver great customer service
- Proof of full Covid and flu vaccination
- Working rights to work in Australia
- Current police clearance and NDIS Screening check
