Liverpool City Council is positioned to lead its community through immense change over the next ten (10) years. City Presentation covers a geographical spread of over three hundred (300) kilometres squared and one thousand seven hundred and eighty-two (1,782) assets spread across 41 suburbs in the Local Government Area (LGA). The LGA will double in capacity over the coming five (5) to ten (10) years.

**The Opportunity**

The position requires you to assist the Parks Coordinator in identifying, planning and to provide accurate and effective technical assessment and recommendations relating tree maintenance programs and project management of external contractors.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Demonstrated experience in the assessment of trees involving possible risks to public assets.
- Experience in writing and recording findings from tree assessments.
- Negotiation skills and proven ability to be innovative in resolving conflict with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability in the creation of work programs for external contractors.
- Experience in the review of completed works by external contractors as per scope of works
- Valid Class C Drivers Licence
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Arboriculture

Liverpool City Council has mandated vaccination for all employees. The successful applicant will be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.Includes Leaseback vehicle.
