**About the role**

We are an energetic, fun and innovative team looking for exciting, creative and service focused people to join us.

As a Health and Fitness Instructor you will engage and build strong relationships with members, whilst supervising the gym floor.

Our 'Everybody Welcome' philosophy is something that we live and breathe on a daily basis, and we take pride in delivering outstanding service to our members and guests.

Our operating hours span from 5:30am to 10:30pm, so it is essential that you are available to work during these times, including weekends and evenings, to provide complete service to our members.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct health consultations, re-assessment and program shows to members.
- Review, change, and modify exercise programs.
- Help provide and run Health club promotion challenges, member engagement and member retention activities.
- Efficiently deliver gym programs.
- Effectively manage the gym team's adherence to GEL's Service Improvement Program.

**Your Strengths**
We are looking for motivated and proactive fitness professionals who are passionate and enthusiastic about health and fitness and ready to make a positive impact on the lives of our members.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Fitness.
- Current First Aid [HLTAID011] and CPR [HLTAID009] Certificates (or willing to obtain).
- Experience in delivering health & wellbeing programs.
- Knowledge of current exercise prescription and methods.

Applicants must be able to provide evidence of current qualifications and registrations.
