**About the Role**:
Registered Nurse Level 2 (RN2) form a key part of direct patient care and lay the foundation of clinical leadership at North Canberra Hospital (NCH). This entails advance knowledge in the field of practice, appropriate skills and experience of team leadership. At NCH, the role of RN2 encompasses four key areas: clinical, management, education and research. RN2 is expected to excel in all four categories.

The RN2 plays a vital role in ensuring that services meet National Health and Quality Standards, improved staff performance and delivery of high-quality evidence-based patient care.

The Undergraduate Clinical Facilitator will work within the Clinical Education team to coordinate, facilitate and support the undergraduate nursing students throughout the year. This support includes clinical support, education sessions, and assessments with regards to the Australian Nursing Standards Assessment Tool (ANSAT). The purpose of this role is to work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including the education providers during student clinical placements at NCH, to meet placement requirements for AHPRA registration. The Undergraduate Clinical Facilitator is required to possess a broad range of skills and knowledge that allows them to facilitate clinical placements for Undergraduate Nursing students across the hospital.
