We are currently looking for a passionate, friendly, and caring **Disability Support Worker in Melbourne's Western Suburbs and North Western Suburbs** from diverse backgrounds who can join our growing team to support our client’s individual needs in Community Participation and In-Home Care.

**About the Role (Based in Maribrynong, Victoria)**

As a Support Worker you will need to demonstrate the following:
Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support

Assisting clients in **Community Participation** by running shopping errands, medical appointments, other therapy sessions etc

Assisting clients with their **Domestic**and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, vacuuming etc

Assisting clients in their daily **Personal Care** tasks as and when required

Ability to understand the vulnerabilities and needs of people with disability and the issues faced by their families

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- **Must have your own ABN with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance**
- **Must own a Car with current Victorian Driver’s License and Comprehensive Insurance**
**- You must be reliable, with high integrity and have a responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to your regular hours**
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia
- You must have and/or willing to obtain Australian Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check - WWCC

**-**Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Hold Certificate or currently studying Certificate III/IV in Disability/or in Ageing Support/ Cert III individual support and have a good understanding towards caring for people with disabilities

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Must show evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination - Triple Dose
