**About the Opportunity**
As part of the City Operations Program the Urban Elements Team Member is responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs to Councils Urban Elements assets including but not limited to:

- Monuments
- Water features
- Public art
- Street & Park Land furniture
- Playground equipment
- Park land fencing & gates
- The role also monitors daily operations of the Torrens Weir Control System, gates and associated infrastructure.

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Sound practical knowledge of the operations of a Works Depot, practices and procedures in maintenance and general yard duties.
- Ability to carry out a multitude of trade related maintenance tasks associated with the day to day management of public infrastructure.
- Self-motivated, results oriented and able to initiate actions to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Capacity to work independently to complete designated tasks.
- An unincumbered driver's license.
