**Team Leader - Supported Independent Living (SIL) House**

**Location**: Mandurah WA
**Employment Type**: Full‑Time hours (Part‑Time / Casual considered)

**Shift Structure (Staff Support)**

Open Sky support staff work the following shifts:

- **Morning Shift**: 7:00 AM - 2:15 PM (includes paid break)
- **Short Day Shift**: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- **Sleepover Shift**: 2:00 PM - 7:15 AM (includes paid break); _Inactive sleepover time is from 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM_

**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate **Team Leader** to oversee the delivery of Supported Independent Living (SIL) services in Mandurah. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in disability support who thrives in team supervision and person-centred care delivery.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing support to staff and participants, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality care aligned with NDIS standards.

**Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision**
- Supervise and support disability support workers across allocated SIL houses
- Ensure consistent delivery of person-centred supports that meet NDIS goals
- Oversee shift handovers, staff attendance, and daily care routines
- Respond to incidents, escalate concerns appropriately, and complete reporting
- Liaise with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals
- Review progress notes and ensure documentation compliance
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for participants and staff

**Essential Criteria**:

- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Community Services, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in SIL/SDA settings or disability leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and support a diverse staff team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR, Police Clearance
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
