We specialise in providing consumers with serious mental illness and their carers: assessment, diagnosis and appropriate evidenced based treatment
**Your new role**:
- You will support Mental Health Tribunal processes and ensure Mental Health Act principles are upheld
- You will operate between Waratah office (Moonee Ponds) and the RMH
- You will participate in clinical service development activities within the team and encourage and support quality initiatives and research
- You will be supported by a supervisor, manager and team leader
- You will part of a committed, enthusiastic and professional team that strives for the best outcomes for its consumers
- You will be involved in a service in the heart of Melbourne
**About you**:
- Formal qualifications and registration (Registered psychiatric Nurse, Occupational therapist, Psychologist and Social worker)
- Minimum of 5 years-experience in mental health
- A strong understanding of the legal and ethical principles of the Mental Health Act
- Function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and enjoy working autonomously
- Excellent organisation, verbal communication and interpersonal skills**
