**DEPARTMENT**

Alfred Psychiatry is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.

**POSITION**

The incumbent will be expected to provide discipline specific, case management, and community treatment for clients with broad and complex needs. Clients of the St Kilda Road Clinic Mental Health Service at Alfred Psychiatry have primary mental health issues, and may also have housing, drug and alcohol, forensic and general health problems. The successful applicant will provide case management to a small targeted client group, provide discipline specific assessment and interventions and in conjunction with colleagues complete recovery plans with the clients of the continuing care team (CCT) located at St Kilda Road Clinic

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent from a recognised school of Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHRPA Occupational Therapy registration.
- Professional experience working as an Occupational Therapist in mental health settings.
- AMPS trained and calibrated desirable.
