**Your next career opportunity**
As the Facilities Officer at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of one of Australia's leading psychology schools. You'll manage key administrative functions, including facilities management, financial transactions, and customer service. This role offers you the chance to develop diverse skills in a collegiate environment, supporting groundbreaking research and education initiatives.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Manage Facilities and Resources**: Oversee office and lab spaces, coordinate moves, and maintain databases for efficient space utilisation.
- **Provide Administrative Support**: Handle financial transactions, process invoices, and maintain effective filing systems for school documents.
- **Deliver Customer Service**: Serve as the first point of contact for facilities enquiries and provide front desk support, ensuring excellent service to diverse stakeholders.
- **Support School Operations**: Assist with logistics, website updates, and general administration to ensure smooth day-to-day activities within the School.

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills, able to manage tight deadlines and conflicting priorities while maintaining a strong customer focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced academic environment.

**You may also**:

- Have completed a diploma-level qualification in a relevant field or possess equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Possess well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and web editing software.
- Have experience working both independently and as part of a team.
