- Have knowledge and understanding of working with children who have experienced sexual assault and/or with children under 10 with problematic and/or harmful sexualised behaviour
- Have knowledge and understanding of the impacts of trauma on the brain and body
- Understands the impact of colonisation, patriarchy and other social political systems that have impacted Indigenous Australian experience of violence and abuse
- Have the ability to provide clinical and cultural supervision, professional development and education

**Wollongong Hospital**, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

- Career progression, professional development and secondment opportunities
- A minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience post-graduation providing trauma informed therapeutic support services with people who have experienced trauma (namely child/adult sexual assault, family and domestic violence), including psychosocial assessments, crisis interventions, risk assessment and safety planning, advocacy, psychoeducation, therapeutic counselling and group work.

- NSW Drivers Licence
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
