Labourpower Trade are seeking **Trades Assistants** for casual ongoing work based in Brendale.

This position is working within the metal recycling industry, our client specialises in the buying and selling of scrap metals.

**This position includes**:

- Assisting any electrical or mechanical tradesman on site
- Use of hand and power tool experience
- Tending to Machine repairs
- General labouring

**To be successful for this position**:

- Previous Trades Assistant experience - **REQUIRED**:

- Valid Forklift Ticket
- Willingness to learn
- Be reliable and excellent attendance for work
- MUST be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test

This position has the opportunity to transition into permanency after the probationary period.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
