We are a café situated in the vibrant heart of Braddon, seeking an experienced and reliable part-time barista to join our team.

**Position Details**:

- Part-Time Hours: 25-30 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Beverage Preparation:

- Crafting espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and other specialty beverages.
- Operating espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment.
- Adhering to recipes and procedures to ensure consistent beverage quality.
- Customer Service:

- Welcoming customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Managing cash and credit card transactions.
- Ensuring a positive and inviting customer experience.
- Workspace Maintenance:

- Keeping the workspace and equipment clean and organized.
- Restocking supplies and managing inventory.
- Complying with food safety and sanitation guidelines.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Customer Service Skills: Friendly, attentive, and patient demeanor with customers.
- Beverage Preparation Skills: Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso techniques, and drink recipes.
- Cash Handling and POS System Skills: Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash transactions.
- Teamwork Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in calculating orders and making change.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey information effectively to customers and team members.
- Hygiene and Sanitation Knowledge: Strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols.
