**Avivo provide support to people with frailty, disability or mental illness to live in their own home. Our Support Workers work alongside people, from all walks of life, giving them a helping hand to live their life.**

We are looking for multiple support workers to provide support to our non-verbal customer in his day to day life based in the **Balga** area. Supports include providing personal care and community support each day. Our customer loves music and going for walks in his wheelchair with his Support Workers, his activities also include going swimming. Shifts are **Monday to Friday between 12.30pm - 4.30pm, additional shifts may also be offered**

**In addition to these roles we are also looking for Support Workers in the Tuart Hill area available to work a variety of shifts throughout the week and weekends.**

**Duties will include**.
- Personal care including dressing, showering and hoisting
- Peg Feeding
- Seizure management
- Community access
- Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
- Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
- Regular communication with local team and participation in team meetings

**You'll need**:

- Previous experience in providing Disability support is preferred
- Previous experience with customers that have seizures
- Previous experience communicating with a non-verbal person or willingness to learn
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and thinking creatively
- Competent using a Smart Phone and Apps
- Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one
- ** A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle**
