**About this role**
Are you passionate about policy, projects and programs that make a difference for individuals, families and communities within the health space? We are looking for a high performing Principal Policy Officer with demonstrated experience in managing policy development, projects and programs, as well as strong stakeholder management skills, who can exercise judgement in fast-paced, complex and sensitive environments.
Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $139,787 - $161,663 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

**What you'll be doing**
The Principal Policy Officer will primarily lead, manage and support the development of policies, projects and programs to support the achievement of NSW Health’s objectives in relation to the work of the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Population and Public Health and Chief Health Officer. This may involve planning, managing and monitoring projects assigned to the team to ensure project outcomes and/or expectations are achieved; preparation of high-quality written reports, briefs, correspondence, and cabinet documents, and representing NSW Health on internal and external committees.
