Reporting to the Regional Workers Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all employees return to work with full assistance and restoration to full function as early as possible.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the effective delivery of injury management
- Developing and managing claims
- Ensuring injuries are issued to relevant insurers
- Ensuring claims are lodged within statutory timeframes
- Scheduling of medical reviews, treatments, and rehabilitation services
- Attending doctor or specialist appointments when required
- Regional travel as required
- Assist supervisors in developing and implementing return to work plans
- Maintains regular contact with injured employees, supervisors, doctors, allied health professionals and rehabilitation consultants
- Providing support and guidance to supervisors regarding legislative and statutory obligations
- Assisting health and safety officers to identify notifiable injuries

**Key skills and attributes required for the role**:

- Relevant Qualification(s)
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and sold attention to detail
- Solid understanding of relevant workers compensation and privacy legislation
- Ablity to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Active listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Allied health background or Workcover background (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current Drivers license
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
