Subcontractor Opportunity

Location: Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast

Work Type: Ongoing subcontract work (ABN required)

Rates: Negotiable based on skill and performance (1-week trial available)

Are you a skilled and reliable tradesperson looking for consistent work with a reputable builder? We are seeking an experienced maintenance and defect repair subcontractor to join our Warranty Department, completing 12-month maintenance and general building defect repairs across a range of residential projects.

About the Role

As a key subcontractor, you will be responsible for carrying out post-handover defect repairs and general maintenance work, ensuring our clients’ homes remain in top condition. Some work may also include pre-handover touch-ups. You will work from job lists created by the Warranty Manager, with scheduling and most materials provided by our Warranty Admin team.

You will be working across a variety of residential projects, including:
✔ Custom & boutique homes

✔ Townhouses & terrace homes

✔ NDIS & investment properties

This is a fantastic opportunity for an all-rounder tradesperson with a strong carpentry background who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

What We’re Looking For

Carpentry background (broad all-rounder skills preferred)

Experience in warranty repairs, rental maintenance, or defect rectification

Own reliable work vehicle & tools

White Card & appropriate insurance

Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions & work independently

QBCC licence preferred but not essential

Skills across multiple trades such as tiling, plastering, painting, rendering

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
