**About the role**

We are seeking personal care workers to deliver high quality and person-centered support to in-home participants around in Adelaide. You will play a big part in helping to improve their quality of life of people living with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities by providing quality care and supporting their independence.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Hold or are working towards a Certificate III or diploma in Individual Support or Disability or Age Care
- Must have working rights in Australia
- A minimum of 1 year experience delivering person-centered care working with people with disabilities
- A DHS Disability Screening check and a Working with Children Check - (we can support you to obtain these)
- First Aid (HLTAID003) and a CPR certificate (HLTAID001)
- A Manual Handling Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Australian driver's license and reliable transport
- Car registration and insurance

**Tasks and activities may include, but are not limited to**:

- Assistance with daily living and/or living activities - such as assisting the people you support with their daily routines, personal hygiene and daily personal care
- Transportation - transporting participants to their appointments/shopping
- Social activities and support - assisting the participants to engage with the community
- Household tasks - such as meal preparation, cleaning and maintaining their home environment

These tasks play a crucial role in assisting each participant is safe, happy and supported every day.
