Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
As Client Services Consultant you will provide quality customer service to Perpetual's clients and advisers within the Perpetual Client Solutions call centre. Providing clients with accurate and timely account information, up-to-date product knowledge and information surrounding applicable legislation.
About the role
As a Client Services Consultant at Perpetual, you will:
- Maintain an up‑to‑date working knowledge of all products, performance, procedures and business rules-
- Provide clients/advisers with accurate and timely account information within service levels-
- Educate clients/advisers about up‑to‑date products and services-
- Ensure notes of calls are placed on relevant systems-
- Produce and send statements and reports to clients/advisers when requested-
- Report and escalate identified risks and issues to team leaders as appropriate-
- Ensure all Activity and Break Codes are entered correctly-
- Adhere to key controls-
- Ensure no advice is given to clients-
- Maintain an awareness of policies and procedures-
- Provide assistance to other areas where necessary.About you- Previous call centre/customer service experience preferable although on the job training will be provided-
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills-
- In-depth understanding of the financial services industry, including unit trust, superannuation, and pension knowledge-
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)-
- Desirable RG146 compliant-
- Proficiency in computer literacy and MS office suite-
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines-
