**Job Description**:
To assist the CAPA - Centre for Aviation Information Services team in **conducting research and producing news content for CAPA members**. The role contributes to the news content creation service, which involves searching for breaking aviation news, researching news stories, expanding our direct news coverage, writing articles in news brief format, uploading content to the CAPA website and contributing to social media content. This news forms part of CAPA’s customised selection of articles and company profiles. The Information Services team aims to be the industry leader in the provision of comprehensive, relevant and timely aviation news for our members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research aviation news content.
- Maintain and expand coverage of direct news sources.
- Monitor official social media content.
- Write news briefs for online publication and distribution to members.
- Contribute relevant news updates to other teams.
- Ongoing research of the aviation industry.
- Provide input on improving the team and the Information Services product.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Interest in Aviation**:

- Graduate level qualification, preferably in aviation, tourism, international relations or a related field;
- Strong written communication skills;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Computer and internet proficiency;
- Initiative and a can-do attitude.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the aviation or tourism industries;
- Proficiency in language(s) other than English.
