The purpose of this role is to support the Procurement & Supply Chain team by managing freight forwarder invoices, minimising detention, managing slow moving inventory, and various other supply chain initiatives.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Review freight forwarder invoices and cross-check invoices against rate cards for accuracy
- Manage disputes with freight forwarders.
- Investigating detention invoices to understand root cause and implement necessary corrective action.
- Update the monthly High Risk Inventory Report ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Analyse supply chain data, use statistical methods and data visualization tools to gain insights into the supply chain operations.
- Analyse purchase prices to gain insights on pricing movements, quantity the impact of pricing movement.
- Supplier DIFOT and performance analysis.
- Implement process improvements aimed at enhancing workflow and efficiency in the shipping document processes.
