**The Role**

As a Retail Security Officer, you’ll be a visible and approachable presence in busy retail environments, focused on loss and asset prevention, and ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for customers.

Your day-to-day might include:

- Keeping a watchful eye for suspicious behaviour
- Roaming and static patrols
- Writing clear, professional incident reports
- Collaborating with store teams to maintain a secure, friendly atmosphere
- Responding quickly and calmly to incidents

**About You**

If you're confident and observant this role could be a great fit. To thrive as a Retail Security Officer, you’ll need:

- Current QLD Security Licence (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (required)
- Police Check (required)
- Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and report-writing skills (Highly desirable)
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with sharp observational skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team
