**The opportunity**

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the role is to administer the timely and accurate processing, recording and reporting of accounts receivable and accounts payable. This entails capturing relevant financial and non-financial data and/or information in the system to enable high quality value-add reporting. In addition, this position will assist with month-end reporting, collect and collate business data and assist with the preparation of management reports.

**Key Accountabilities**

**Accounts Receivable (AR)/Accounts Payable (AP)**:

- Timely and accurate processing of AR & AP invoices and employee expense reimbursement
- Reconcile customers’ deposits and issue payment receipts
- Monitor debtor aging balance and follow up
- Perform 3-way matching for AP invoices
- Reconcile and process corporate credit card
- Administer petty cash reconciliation and related journal entries
- Raise purchase requisitions for A&F related expenditure
- Prepare AR and AP related journals.
- Assist with month-end closing
- Assist with year-end audit procedures
- Assist with physical stocktaking of inventory, raw materials and fixed assets
- Assist with weekly management and Group reporting.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma in Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in AR & AP
- Understanding and experience with GST
- Good understanding of general accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with ERP system preferred
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
