**The Role**

**Predominately Monday to Friday working days with school holidays off.**

**Trippas White Group is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands on Catering Manager to lead one of our teams at one of Melbourne’s outer Ringwood’s prestigious schools, along with experience in events of all styles and guest numbers.**

We are looking for a catering manager with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment with a supportive client.

Reporting directly to the offsite Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day running and supervision of the kitchen including functions and retail. You will be multi-skilled with the ability to lead your team.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts
- Working with the chef on Day-to-day production of all kitchen requirements both retail & events.
- High volume production of contemporary food
- Financial and Operational Management of the kitchen operation
- Ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity
- Managing staffing requirements and rosters
- Ordering and replenishing stock

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Proven and successful background in catering management
- A focus on providing excellent contemporary food
- Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Highly developed leadership skills
- Strong Human Resource skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable grooming standards
- Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
- Computer literate
- Please note that a Working with Children check is a mandatory requirement of this position.
