**WHS Business Partner - 3 Days per Week**

**War Memorial Hospital - Waverley, Eastern Suburbs NSW**

This is a rare opportunity to lead Work Health & Safety at one of Sydney’s most iconic and beautifully located hospitals - War Memorial Hospital in Waverley - in a part-time capacity (3 days per week).

As our dedicated **WHS Business Partner**, you’ll be based onsite at War Memorial Hospital and work closely with executive and frontline teams to shape and support a proactive, preventative safety culture. You’ll provide expert WHS and injury management advice, lead incident investigations, coordinate safety systems, and help deliver safer outcomes for staff, patients, and visitors alike.

**About the Role**

As the WHS lead for the War Memorial Hospital site, you’ll:

- Coach and support leaders on WHS strategies and compliance
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire response systems
- Deliver WHS training and build safety capability across the site
- Review and update safety policies and procedures in line with legislation
- Support injury management and return to work planning
- Use data and digital tools to monitor, report, and improve safety outcomes

**What You’ll Bring**
- Qualifications in health or safety (e.g., Cert IV or above in WHS)
- 3+ years of experience in WHS or a related field
- Tech-savvy approach - confident using Microsoft Office, safety systems and digital platforms
- Strong communication, investigation, and coaching skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
