Support Worker Job Description
Role Summary
Working with clients under the NDIS financing framework, the Community Support Worker's job is to help people reach their objectives and become more independent and involved in the community. Helping will empower those with disabilities and/or psychosocial needs to participate in all facets of daily life.
**Location**: Carlisle and Maddington
**Hours**: 4 hours a week ( + travel kms paid)
**Preferred**:experience working with LGBTQIA+, Mental Health and Autism

Responsibilities and Duties
- Basic House Cleaning - emptying dishwasher, hanging laundry, vacuuming, and mopping, etc
- Shopping Assistance
- Escorting clients on social outings and activities, shopping excursions, or doctor's appointments **Assisting clients with daily living activities at their homes, such as getting dressed, using the restroom, and taking a shower.** Performing light housework, helping with meal preparation, and eating assistance **Coordinating with your client's families and representatives as needed**
Key criteria include:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months) **Proof of working rights - Passport or visa** Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle **Current National Police Clearance** Working With Children Check issued in Western Australia **Current or willing to obtain relevant immunisations for working in WA health** Smart mobile phone **WA Driver's licence and your own car** Comprehensive car insurance

**Qualifications**:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Services **Current First Aid and CPR qualifications**
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $31.76 - $45.00 per hour
