**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Security Officer
- Grade 2** to be part of our People & Capability NSW Police Academy, People & Capability Command team. The Security Officer has the responsibility to perform safety and security services for the NSW Police Force in an ethical, efficient and cost-effective manner for all Academy sites, facilities and persons therein.

Working in a small team, the position is responsible for on-site security, this includes (among other duties):

- Staffing the front gate.
- Locking and unlocking facilities.
- Providing after hours assistance to students and visiting staff; and
- General on-site security monitoring and patrols.
