**About the role**

Northern NSW Local Health District has an exciting career opportunity for a Community Health Nursing Unit Manager - Brighter Beginnings. This role is responsible for the professional and operational management of nursing/midwifery staff (and other relevant staff under their delegation) and coordinating the provision of care in the community setting. Specifically, the role manages a broad range of services, including but not limited to diabetes, generalist community nursing, child and family health nursing, chronic disease management and Hospital in the Home (HITH) services. The role includes leadership, planning, coordination, evaluation and day to day management of staff as well as site management responsibilities.
