We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader Community Development to join our Community Services team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team committed to planning, delivering, and responding to the current and future needs of our diverse community. You’ll work closely with the Manager of Community Services to create policies, programs, and initiatives that align with the city’s vision and uphold social justice principles.
**About you**:
- **Tertiary Qualifications**: A degree in social or behavioural sciences, policy, research, planning, or a related field; or substantial experience and expertise in community development, engagement, and participation.
- **Project and Program Development**: Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate projects and programs at the local level, particularly in areas like wellbeing, accessibility, ageing, and inclusion.
- **Strategic Planning and Policy Development**: Experience in creating and assessing strategic plans and policies at the local level.
- **Leadership and Team Management**: Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully supervising and motivating a team to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
