Opportunity to work for one of the largest gold producers in the world.

A rare Underground Manager position has become available at this large gold operation located in WA. Our client is now looking for a dynamic leader with a strong underground operational background to lead this mine to further success. This is an exciting operation where you will be professionally challenged and encouraged to develop your potential in a dynamic team environment.

In this role you will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating all aspects of the underground operation. Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will play a crucial part in the operational leadership team.

You will manage all aspects of production as well as oversee the maintenance of equipment, plant and infrastructure. Furthermore, you will be involved in underground development projects.

Your main focus is to ensure that production outcomes are aligned with strategic goals and operational needs. You will also undertake ongoing business reviews and implement projects as required.

You will have a degree in Mining Engineering and experience as an Underground Manager.

You will also have proven exposure to leading a large team and will be comfortable with the scheduling and planning demands for a complex underground deposit. A WA First Class Mine Managers ticket is essential.
