Say goodbye to the city commute This role comes with the added benefits of our Mitcham location (also in walking distance to Mitcham station), with an office decorated by local artists, rooms showcasing our latest footwear and apparel, outdoor BBQ/lunch area, free parking and free gym access. * ABOUT THE ROLE* Located in Mitcham, we are seeking an experienced, motivated and dedicated Group Credit Controller, to join us Full Time, who is a team player to work with our Finance Manager, Management Accountant and Group C.F.O. You will need to possess good customer service skills and your phone manner would need to be of a high standard. You will be responsible for ensuring that any outstanding debtors are contacted in regards to "reminders" and manage any problems that may occur in relation to the debt. * Your main responsibilities will be;* - Build relationships with our clients to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner and contact customers who have not paid their accounts by the due date and endeavor to get a commitment to pay. - Liaise with the Finance Manager regarding the status of outstanding debtors on a weekly basis. - Liaise with Sales Team and Customer Service in regards to new accounts, outstanding balances, stock release and journals. - Prepare and process credit notes, as well as bad debt write offs. - Maintain a detailed database with comprehensive notes recording all accounts, reconciliations, commissions to agents. - Develop relationship with major retail chain personnel. - Will be in charge of 4 entities within the group. - Familiar with P.P.S.R. registrations. - Attending monthly management meeting. - Approving agents commission reports * WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR* - Minimum 4 + years’ experience working in a similar role. - Experience within the Retail Industry - preferred - Very strong communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related software suites * WE CAN OFFER YOU...* As a licensee of Converse, Hurley and Rookie USA, Conquest Group employees are motivated by this belief.
