Rigger/ Dogman/ Crane Operator

UWS has been a family-owned and operated business based in South East QLD since 1980. We service the commercial and industrial construction industry along the east coast of Australia with both structural and architectural steelwork: from small stand-alone structures to complex commercial structures of over 2000 tonnes

We are currently seeking skilled Riggers, Dogman, and crane operators on a casual basis (full-time hours with potential to move to full time)

**Responsibilities**:
Chasing an all rounder from job set up dogging installation of purlins, grouting, occasional roof sheeting and other building work. Occasional away work and night works as needed but not standard.

Seeking a versatile individual to join our team for various tasks including site set out, dogging, installation of purlins, grouting, occasional roof sheeting, and other building work. The role may entail occasional away work and night shifts as needed, although not standard.

**Requirements**:

- Driver’s license
- White card
- Yellow card
- Over 11m EWP license
- Basic rigging license (Rigger Position)
- Dogging license (Dogman position)
- C6 License (Crane Operator position)

**Desirable**:

- Working at heights
- Forklift
- Experience and skills in structural steel and steel erection

**Hours**:

- Generally 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday - Thursday with a half hour lunch break
- Early finish on a Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm with no lunch break
- Overtime as available

Our workshop is situated in Stapylton. However, when it comes to onsite jobs, our primary focus is on the South Brisbane area. In addition to that, we also undertake projects in other locations, both nearby and farther away, including the Gold Coast region.

**Salary**: From $38.00 per hour
