We are a small, friendly and service orientated business based in Narangba and serving the Greater Brisbane Region, including Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Gold Coast. Due to our prompt, friendly and professional service we are continually expanding and currently require an experienced driver who is keen to help grow the company and in turn their career.

**JOB SUMMARY**

This role is primarily labouring and general yard duties at our Narangba facility. The position involves helping the operator with construction waste segregation, recycling, upkeep of skip bins, occassionally cleaning trucks as well as other reasonable tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience working in similar industry, or around heavy machinery,
- An awareness for safety & working safely in a busy environment,
- Physically fit - physically demanding work, working outdoors, working responsibly outdoors in Queensland weather, etc.
- Reliable and prompt,
- Good work ethic, can-do attitude, professional & polite,
- Steel cap safety boots, Hi-vis shirt, safety sunglasses,
- References - at least 2 from current and/or most recent employers,
- Right to work in Australia, & well-spoken English for safety reasons,
- Willing to obtain a current Police Check,
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.

**HIGHLY **_**DESIRABLE**_**:

- Operator tickets: skid steer, excavator, front-end loader, forklift, heavy vehicle driver's license,
- Mechanical or handyman skills,
- Welding/grinding skills,
- For the right person, a desire to advance your career by starting at the bottom, and working your way up as you learn everything.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
