**The Opportunity**:
One of our clients is seeking a Network & Security Engineer, who can working autonomously to shape the network and security landscape on a full-time, permanent basis. Working within a team of 6 people you will be responsible for the maintenance & enhancement of their IT Infrastructure landscape with a focus on Network & Security.

**The Role**:

- **Autonomous Network & Security Management**: Work independently to design and manage network and security infrastructure. Driving initiatives for continuous improvement in network and security domains.
- **Cloud Migration and Network Security**: Leading & supporting cloud migration projects, utilsing network security expertise to fortify cloud & on-premise environments.
- **Manage on premise infrastructure**: Take ownership of all on-premise infrastructure including networking & systems (MS Stack).
- **Cisco & Firewall switching**: Implement & manage Cisco infrastructure, as well as configuring & monitoring firewall switching for enhanced security.

**About you**

In order to be a successful applicant you will ideally come from a networking background and have experience working in highly collaborative environment, with a can-do attitude. You will also have:

- Demonstrated capabilities in designing & managing network & security infrastructure
- Expertise in cloud migration, Azure preferred
- Strong background in network security, police procedures and governance
- Comprehensive knowledge of on-premise infrastructure & the full MS stack
- Experience in Cisco/Fortinet infrastructure & firewall switching
- Understanding of security principles, or relevant certifications preferrably ISO/ISM/Essential 8
- Strong background in network security, policy procedures, and governance.

- Proficiency in Cisco infrastructure and firewall switching.
