**About Hills Kidz Early Learning Centre**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, whether engaged in indoor or outdoor activities.
- Supervise children during play, nap times, meals, and daily routines while providing nurturing care, emotional support, and positive reinforcement.
- Assist in planning and preparing age-appropriate activities that support the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children, including arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and educational play.
- Guide children in their social development, teaching positive behavior, conflict resolution, and teamwork, creating a warm, inclusive environment.
- Support children with special needs and provide individual attention to foster their development.
- Oversee hygiene routines, such as hand washing; meal times, and bathroom breaks, ensuring children maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Build strong relationships with families, maintaining open communication and providing regular updates on children’s progress and experiences.
- Address concerns from parents with a collaborative approach to ensure each child’s needs are met.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the centre, participating in team meetings and professional development to stay updated with best practices.
- Adhere to all center policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including safety protocols and licensing regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Must have Working with Children Check.
- First Aid Qualification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in the relevant field required
