Manage a range of capital works projects for the department at the APS5, APS6 & EL1 level.

**Your new role**

Depending on the level of role you’re performing and under broad direction, you will proactively manage the budget, construction and documentation of the project/s to ensure that the consultants and contractors deliver the outcomes agreed with the client and stakeholders to the required time, scope and budget. You will assist in managing or will manage the project program, liaise and consult with all stakeholders whilst providing advice and prepare project briefs.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Experience in managing capital works projects, in either new build, fit out or refurbishment is ideal. Ideally you will have worked in a government project management or similar support role. You must be an Australian citizen and possess a baseline clearance.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered a 6-12-month contract within a large Government Department with an attractive hourly rate or a long term non-ongoing contract direct with the Department which will offer you all government benefits including increased super and paid leave entitlements.
